Year 3 Visit Ness Gardens
- 1st November 2018
- ness gardens
On Tuesday the 23rd of October, 3G ventured out to Ness Gardens to discover more about their flowers topic. They have been studying flowers in science and have been getting messy with their art project, all based on that theme!
On the trip, the children took part in a ‘Plants and Pollinators’ workshop with Rose, one of the Rangers at the gardens. Rose talked about the different types of bees and how they, amongst other creatures, pollinate flowers.
After lunch, the class followed a tree-trail around the grounds. They learnt lots about different types of trees, found all over the World, and how some of them ended up at Ness Gardens.
