On Thursday morning, kitted out with Christmas Jumpers and Reindeer Antlers, the
children took part in a ‘Reindeer Run’. With far from ideal conditions outside, the run
had to take a different form inside the hall.
The children were all given the opportunity to parade their lovely Christmas Jumpers
and antlers in front of their peers as a track was made around the outside edge of the
hall. The other children sat in the middle and cheered on their peers. At the count of
three though, Santa, who appeared as a special guest, sprinted off whilst all the little
reindeer tried to catch him. All of the children did brilliantly and managed to catch up
to an increasingly tired Santa!
A lot of fun was had but more importantly, thanks to your kind donations, money was
raised for an incredibly important cause – Hospice of the Good Shepherd based locally
in Chester.
