Despite being unable to gather as a whole school community this year we still ensured our special Harvest Celebration went ahead. This year we rose to the new Covid-19 challenge and put together a virtual Harvest Celebration! The children worked hard during a special ‘Harvest Across the World’ day, where each class chose a region and created a piece of writing and artwork inspired by the way different countries celebrate Harvest. Mr Dann collated a wonderful video where we saw a presentation from each class, including recitals from the students of our peripatetic music and speech and drama teachers.

Reverend Jonathan Phillips, our school chaplain, gave the message about “Harvest Around The World” as he described how Harvest (and food) unites us the world over!

Thank you to all of our families who collected over 185 KG of food for the West Cheshire Food bank, kindly donated to the school and delivered by our Foodbank coordinator Mrs Bowden.

Enjoy some of the beautiful work created by our children during their special Harvest Day!
