The wet ground and the terrible conditions didn’t stop our amazing children take part in the annual Firs Children in Need cross country event earlier this month. Children from Reception to Year 6 ran a graded course which varied in length depending on age. Despite a change in venue due to a waterlogged course the children all embraced the new route, and as usual The Firs Way shone through as friends supported and encouraged one another, even when the the going got tough! Out Firs Parent Group baked and served cakes, tea and coffee and in total we raised a grand total of ££247.64. A wonderful afternoon!
