The Firs Kindergarten is open for children aged 3 and 4 who can attend from one to five full day sessions. The Kindergarten is registered with Sure Start to receive Nursery Education Grants.

A safe, happy, stimulating environment has been created to give children the best possible start to their school life in the context of a caring Christian environment which supports children from all faiths and none. The Kindergarten is situated in the bungalow providing a secure area within the school grounds.

The Kindergarten is lead by qualified and experienced staff who are sensitive to the individual needs of each child in their care. We understand that a childs first years are crucial and that their environment must be full of broad, first hand experiences in order for them to grow and develop. To help achieve this the Kindergarten uses specialists in the areas of music, french and art.

The Kindergarten is equipped with a wide range of toys and educational resources which provide the children with a variety of developmental and stimulating activities appropriate to their age. We are committed to working towards the Early Learning Goals set down in the Foundation Stage Curriculum. The children enhance their learning skills in the following areas.
