SportThe Firs School is set in attractive grounds with both hard and grass areas for recreation and sport. Our physical education curriculum includes football, netball, swimming and athletics. The program is flexible and allows for other activities to take place when practicable. |

Art & DesignWe are proud of our high standard of art and design. The school is noted for its outstanding display work. The pottery has allowed for further development of our art curriculum. |

FestivalsOur harvest festival, carol service and end of year services take place in local churches. The school choirs, musicians and recorder group take part in these services. |

ClubsGardening club and Science club take place during the lunch break. Sports clubs are held after school. |

Educational VisitsAll children take part in at least one educational visit each year. Children in Year 4 and Year 6 enjoy respectively 3 and 4 day residential visits during the summer term, which include adventurous activities. |

After School ActivitiesOur after school activities team provides a variety of activities from 3:30pm to 6:00pm each day in the homely atmosphere of the school bungalow. |
