School will be open as normal on Wednesday 30th November.
The Firs Chamber Choir has entered for this years Cheshire schools Christmas Choir competition organised by the NeuroMuscular centre with support from Dawsons music and Dee 106.3. The winners get to sing at the spirit of Christmas event at the Cathedral on the 3rd of December and win music equipment for their school. The finalists will be announced on Dee 106.3 on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed!

Due to the dampness of the field and the uncertain weather we have had to cancel Junior sports day. We are very sorry for inconvenience caused. Please join us next week (29June) when hopefully the weather will be more "summery".
The weather has unfortunately got worse and we therefore need to cancel since the field will be wet. The reserve day on the 28th will be used.
We will watch the weather and make an announcement on Junior day.
Mrs Longman reports that Y3 arrived safely at Robinwood and they are currently making their beds before lunch and their 1st activities!

The Firs School Chester proudly released its new inspection report today. The school is very happy to receive such a positive report from the Independent Inspectors which we think fairly reflects the school and it's ethos.
