We wish all pupils, parents and staff a happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year. A particular thanks goes to the Cooks who left us last year to move to London. They sent us an early Christmas present in the form of a lovely bench which we have put under the climbing rose arch.
Make a commentOn Friday 9th December, J3, J4, J5 and J6 all went to Tenpin at Cheshire Oaks for their annual Bowling trip in place of what would be their final PE session of the year.
All the year groups were impressive with some very high scores going on the score boards, particularly notable with their high scoring was Zain S (6L) and Olivia R (5R).
All in all a great day out, and many thanks to all the juniors for representing the school ...

We've put it back to 9.30am in order for you to have a coffee and cake and perhaps pick up some uniform in the hall before hand. Each talk on DVD is no longer than 15mins and then we have a chat about our own experiences. The course notes are now available here if you want to see what is being covered.

Firs students watch as members of the Firs
Remember to book your tickets for the ball before 31st March and the cost is £100 for two! Download the booking form here, complete it and send with cheque to the FSDF mailbox in the school or post direct to the school marking the envelope "Hawaiian Dinner Dance".
Thanks to all the children, parents and staff for an incredible fund raising effort at last Friday's red nose day. A grand total of £820 was raised through various means including selling red noses and the FSDF uniform and cake sale which raised £366. Notable efforts include Eden H-D whose sponsored silence raised £40. The children all enjoyed the day by dressing up in red as you can see from the photos below.


All proceeds to go to Comic Relief!
