| Two years ago a group of parents from The Firs and members of Christchurch Chester set out on a sponsored bike ride to raise money for the Lightproject, a local Christian charity based in Chester. Together we raised an amazing amount £2144. So this year we are going to have another go! The date for the diary is April 28-29 and will involve an overnight stay in a bunk house. The route we are planning is around Cadair Idris and the rough outline can be seen below. You will need to be reasonably fit (2 days in a saddle is pretty tough) and your mountain bike needs to be in fair condition (we had too many punctures and other minor mechanical problems last year)! |
